Euskatel Tour Team

Tour 2008

Basque Region squad Euskatel/Euskadi have named their team for the 95ª edition of the Tour of France.

Recent results obtained in the Dauphiné Libéré and the Tour of Switzerland have reinforced the morale of the 'orange' team.

Director Sportif Miguel Madariaga says that the main aim is to improve on 2007. "Last year we had a very good Tour and we gave an image of a compact fighting team that I loved, and that should be the sign of identity of the team."

He continues - "The Tour de France is a very complicated race but we are doing things well and although I do not want to put a concrete objective, we do want to improve in 2008."

Team
Mikel Astarloza
Inaki Isasi
Egoi Martinez
Juan José Oroz
Ruben Perez
Samuel Sanchez
Amets Txurruka
Gorka Verdugo
Haimar Zubeldia (ESP)
