The Rapha Condor ReCycling.co.uk ride the Girvan and Easter Four Day over Easter. Whilst Chris Newton and Ben Greenwood are both out with injury.

Girvan
The Rapha Condor ReCycling.co.uk team for Girvan is; Dean Downing, Kristain House, Rob Partridge, Dale Appleby, Tom Diggle, Rhys Lloyd, Ryan Bonser and Graham Briggs.

The Girvan is a tough Scottish stage race and team manager John Herety says that the; "Hardest aspect of the race. Not one but a combination I would say, these include the weather, the climbs of Glenella, Nick o' Ballack and Hadyard hill on the last day day and element of luck with punctures and mechanicals as the road conditions are really poor. Some pot holes you will need a rope ladder to get out of them!"

The race is the second event in the UK National Premier Series, which saw the Rapha Condor ReCycling.co.uk team triumph in round one.

The Easter 4 day
Also on the team agenda is The Easter 4 day (used to be Tour of the Border) Riders for this are: Simon Holt, Matt Rowe and Adam Bonser. The race, organised by Newcastle Cheviot is held over four stages and has attracted some very good Under 23 riders to compete.

Rider update
Injured riders are Chris Newton and Ben Greenwod, Chris is at home having had his collarbone plated recently.

He has seen the surgeon this week who gave him the X rays showing the collarbone to be broke in 4 places, his recovery is going well and he will be training again in approx. one week. Ben is with us in Girvan and continues to make good if slow progress with his knee injury.

The whole team have been (not Chris) in Girvan training since last weekend, The Easter 4 day riders will travel to Newcastle for there race that starts Friday. Girvan starts Saturday, March 22. Weather has been good till today dry but cold. It's now raining hard and snow and sleet is expected for the weekend, what joy!
