The Sport Beans/Wilier road race team will concentrate on the Premier Calendar, National Criteriums Series as well as National Championships. Riders featured are Ben Luckwell, who will act as rider manager, Grant Bayton, Dave Coulson, Marc Perry, Mark Thwaites, Gary Smith (Team Assistant) and Pole Marcin Bialoblock.

Jelly Belly Candy Co Chairman Herm Rowland
Ben Luckwell summed up the year ahead by telling us; 'This will be my first year as a manager, and although I will still be looking for wins, I see my role as motivating and helping the team to act as professionally as possible over the season.

Dave Coulson, a top finisher in 2007 Premier events, said that the team's focus was to make the podium whenever possible, he also said that he and the team were aware that they had two big sponsors and it was important for the team to give their best and portray the team and sponsors in the best possible light.

The team will ride the Wilier Le'Roi bike supplied by ATB sales, and brand manager Colin Bath said "I have worked with Ben and the lads for sometime and I know what they are capable of. With our bikes and Sport Bean behind them, they are in a very strong position to succeed". More information at - www.wilierbikes.co.uk/

Jelly Belly Candy Co had flown over their top brass, and you could not meet a more friendly and enthusiastic group, maybe its the high performance of the beans, if it is, then we need some! Robert Simpson, President of Jelly Belly Candy Co commentated; "This is the fist time we have committed to this scale of sponsorship in the UK... The team is a great combination of youth and experience combining enthusiasm and ambition". More information at - www.sportsbeans.co.uk

We expect the team to feature well and Marcin Bialoblock could just be the revelation of the 2008 season.
