Another day in yellow for Michael Rasmussen

Ten years after winning his maiden Tour stage, Cedric Vasseur added his second on the mostly flat stage to Marseille. The 229.5km stage saw an 11-man breakaway group go clear after 80km.

Michael Rasmussen finished with the peloton rolling in over ten minutes behind the breakaway group, retaining the yellow jersey for another day.
