Stage 8 Photos

Stage 8, Le Grand-Bornand to Tignes would see a mountain top finish for the first time this Tour with the stage finishing at the Ski resort of Tignes. Michael Rasmussen escaped from the field to win and take the lead in both the yellow and mountain competitions. The stage didn't produce any real disasters for the GC rivals although green jersey favourite Robbie McEwen was eliminated - report
