Stage 7 Photos

Stage 7, Bourg-en-Bresse to Le Grand-Bornand was when the riders reach the Alps and the climb of the Col de Colombiere. It was on this climb that Linus Gerdemann broke free from a small break to win alone and take the yellow jersey (And the white). The stage, as everyone expected, saw a a real shake out in the GC, demoting the sprinters and others, whilst the race contenders worked to stay in the hunt. There were no real nightmares for any of them and even the injured Alexandre Vinokourov made it home with the big boys - report

Chris Wallis was at the stage, sadly he missed the cut off to get to the top of the mountain in time for the finish. (Just one of those days)
