Flush from their success in the Critérium du Dauphiné Libérée, where French favourite Christophe Moreau won, the French squad Ag2r Prevoyance go into the 2007 Tour de France set not to win the race, but to make waves.

This rider rode a PRO high-modulus composite frame rather than the B-Twin Racing

Ag2r Prevoyance ride B-Twin bikes, a little known name outside France, but which inside the country is linked to giant sports store company Decathlon. The Pro team have two basic bikes at their disposal, the aluminium based B-Twin Racing and the carbon PRO.

The time trial bike is based on the B-Twin racing and does not appear in either the B-Twin or Decathlon catalogues. From the limited information available the B-Twin Racing TT features an areo shaped aluminium triangle with a carbon fork. There is a second TT bike in carbon, but almost all the team used the B-Twin Racing. The road version of the frame has a high modulus carbon rear triangle.

The Ag2r Prevoyance bikes are completed with a Campagnolo group and wheels, Fizik saddles, a Deda Finishing kit and roll on clincher Michelin tyres.
