Looking almost traditional when compared to the Time, BMC and Look or even the Wilier time trial bikes, the Liquigas Cannondale Six13 Slice remains an efficent platform for success. Danilo Di Luca used his to win a time trial stage of the 2007 Giro d'Italia on his way to winning the event.

The 2007 Cannondale Six13 Slice features co-molded high modulus carbon fibre top and down tubes connected to lightweight aluminum head tube and rear triangle, resulting in a sub 1300 gram frame.

Cannondale say that; 'The composite combines unidirectional and woven carbon fibers for optimal lateral and torsional stiffness.'

The front fork is carbon with a carbon steerer tube and is shaped to cheat the wind. The frame looks almost 'normal' but the 'coke' bottle seat tube shouts that this is a time trial bike.

The bike is finished off with a Fizik saddle, Campagnolo gears, brakes and seat post, with Cannondale Coda cranks, FSA bars and stem, plus Fulcrum wheels.

Team Barloworld with Geraint Thomas will also ride Cannondale in the 2007 Tour de France.
