David Millar will this use this bike to contest the Tour de France prologue in London for his Saunier Duval/Prodir squad.

The Scott Plasma Pro time trial bike is constructed with Scott's secret Internal Moulding Process from high modulus carbon. In a nutshell the frame is made up from butted carbon tubes and then 'welded' (glued) into carbon lugs. The butted tubes are thinner on the sides and thicker on top and below, thus cutting weight but not necessarily strength.

To cut weight Scott have coined the term 'Naked External Tubing' and this refers to the carbon weave being thinner on the outside and less obvious to the eye.

The fork is based on the Addict road bike with the obvious aerodynamic shape marking it it out for time trials and the frame features an integrated seat tube.

The Saunier Duval/Prodir team use SRAM Force groupset, Fizik saddles, Huthchinson tyres, Ritchey bars and stems and Mavic wheels. The wheels in particular make the bikes stand out especially when kitted to a modified track rear disc wheel and Carbonne wheels.

David has fitted a 54 tooth Stronglight chainring to his carbon SRAM Force chainset.
