The eight stage 2008 Tour of Britain is the UK's premier road race running September 7/14 - all stages

Stage 2: Milton Keynes to Newbury - Monday 8th September

TOB 08 stage

A stage of mixed terrain that might test tired London legs, but none of the hills on route are hard enough to split the field and the steady descent into Newbury should favour a mass sprint.

The stage begins in Milton Keynes in front of Milton Keynes Central station with the riders completing a loop of the town centre before heading out via Bletchley and on towards Aylesbury

The stage closes in the town of Newbury at the Parkway and is better know for horse rather than bike racing.
