The eight stage 2008 Tour of Britain is the UK's premier road race running September 7/14 - all stages

Stage 6: Darlington to Newcastle Gateshead - Friday 12th September

TOB 08 stage

Climbs at Langley (42k) and High Barns (74k) feature on stage six and neither should disrupt the race leaders and this could allow a break to go away.

Also on the agenda are three sprints at Harelaw (50k), Morpeth (110k) and Seaton Sluice (129k).
