Bejing Olympic Games Track Day Two - 16.30 China Time

Saturday August 16 is the second day of action from the Laoshan Velodrome and after a great day for Team GB when they stormed to the Team sprint gold medal, more gold is expected today. (Three available)

The day begins with the Men's individual pursuit finals and in qualifying Bradley Wiggins went fastest with a new Olympic record. Next up are the Keirin heats followed by the final. Earlier in the programe Chris Newton races in the men's points race.

The women's individual pursuit moves toward their finals on Sunday with the first round and in qualifying Britain's Wendy Houvenaghel and Rebecca Romero were quickest - see Track Medals
