Bejing Olympic Games Track Day Three - Preview

Sunday August 16 is the third day of action from the Laoshan Velodrome. On the first day Team GB won the Team sprint gold medal, and followed this on day two with gold and silver in the Kieran, gold and bronze in the men's individual pursuit and bronze in the points race.

Day three offers a sure gold and silver for Great Britain in the women's individual pursuit when Wendy Houvenaghel and Rebecca Romero go head to head.. Victoria Pendleton lines up for the women's sprint qualifying, and Chris Hoy and Jason Kenny do the same in the men's sprint. Also the men's teams begin the process of winning the team pursuit gold- see Track Medals
