Vuelta a Burgos 2008

The Vuelta a Burgos 2008 covers a total of 800 kilometers during the five days in and around the Spanish city of Burgos in Castille. Medina de Pomar Villarcayo (147,7 km)

Stage 5 Areniscas de los Pinaros / Lagunas de Neila (155 km)
Juan Jose Cobo (Scott/American Beef) won the mountainous fifth and final stage.

The stage was decided on the very last climb of the race. On the way up to Laguna de Neila, 11 riders were able to get away and ride for the win. In the last kilometers, Juan Jose Cobo jumped out of the group and was able to stay away until the finish line.
