Vuelta a Burgos 2008

The Vuelta a Burgos 2008 will cover a total of 800 kilometres during the five days starting on August 5 in and around the Spanish city of Burgos in Castille.

MapClimbs of the first and second category wait for the riders, starting with the first stage from Medina de Pomar up until the fifth stage on Saturday, August 9, in Neila, about 90 kilometres southeast of Burgos.

Climbers have dominated the Burgos race in the past, with specialists like Mauricio Soler, Iban Mayo and Alejandro Valverde winning the overall title.

A number of riders use the event as preparation for the Tour of Spain.

07.08. 3. Stage: Melgar de Fernamental - Burgos (149,3 km)
08.08. 4. Stage: Burgos - Aranda de Duero (162,1 km)
09.08. 5. Stage: Areniscas de los Pinaros - Lagunas de Neila (155 km)
