Cadel Evans of Silence Lotto has been riding a new Ridley Helium for the mountain stages as featured previously.

A number of Campagnolo equipped squads have been riding 2009 Campagnolo Record group. The most obvious new feature is the move to eleven speed and new reshaped levers. (See Giro d'Italia)

We know that many will roll their eyes and shrug their shoulders claiming it a mere marketing ploy. Others may argue that with an electric group on the horizon, the almost straight through cassette may be kinder to battery life.

I love new kit and I can't wait for Shimano to produce 12 speed and then SRAM 13.
