Riccardo Riccò has been causing a stir in the Tour de France with his explosive climbing, his attack to win stage 9 an impressive feat that the late Marco Pantani would have been proud of.

Performance matters at such critical moments of the race, and Rudy Project has supplied the young rider with its latest development, Exowind. Rudy Project already supplies 30 riders in the Tour from seven different teams, but for the “Cobra,” Rudy prepared a special pair of its new, still in development optics, the Exowind.

Featuring Ergonose 4, an exclusive adjustable and non-allergic nose piece, and ImpactX photochromic lenses that are claimed to be unbreakable, the optics provided Riccò with unparalleled optical clarity on the slopes of Col de Aspin. Riccò's nickname is laser engraved on the lens.
