New Cento Uno at Tour

Alessandro Ballan and his new Wilier Cento

Lampre's Damiano Cunego, Alessandro Ballan (See Ballan's 2007 mount) and team mates will ride the very new Wilier Cento1 during the 2008 Tour de France.

The new Cento Uno will be officially shown in autumn and will be on sale in 2009.

The main characteristics of the Wilier Cento1 are a frame in carbonium 46, asymmetrical rear triangle, integrated seat tube, oversized bottom bracket and comes in at 7 kg in weight.

Elements of the new Cento have been seen on team Le Roi team bikes in recent months and have been test ridden in some very prestigious events.

We spotted the prototypes at the 2008 Giro d'Italia and we must admit to spying the new production bike at the Wilier factory, but can't show you the pictures yet
